Warranty conditions

Remy provides 24 month or 100 000 km milage warranty for its units provided the fulfillment of the following criteria:

1. Installation and connection is according to the fitting instructions.
2. Unit was installed by professional electrician.
3. Starter/Alternator is fitted on proper vehicle application
4. Unit failure is not the consequence of the brake down of other electric equipment of the vehicle.
5. Unit is not dismantled, repaired, or modified, except it is advised so in the fitting instructions.
6. Unit failure is not due to car crash or mechanical damage.

Warranty claims will be refused in case of the following failure modes:

1. Unit is wear
2. Unit is broken due to wrong installation
3. Armature has suffered major abuse( continually run in mesh)
4. Blocked armature ( armature run with the engine flywheel)
5. Damaged bearing ( overtight of belt)
6. Oil ingress to the unit
7. Dismantled unit
8. Missing components( regulator, pulley)
9. Unit is not suffered by major oil ingress or continuous run in mesh.

To enforce your claim, please send the warranty claim form back to us properly filled.
